Laurel, MD: ERP International is pleased to announce it has been appraised at maturity level 3 for CMMI SVC + SSD v1.3. ERP is a high maturity organization assed at CMMI maturity level 5 for development. To continually improve our quality management and service delivery systems, we have pursued and successfully obtained a maturity level 3 appraisal for services.
CMMI-SVC draws on concepts and practices from CMMI and other service focused standards and models, including: Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL), ISO/IEC 20000, Information Technology—Service Management Control Objectives for Information and related Technology (CobiT), and Information Technology Services Capability Maturity Model (ITSCMM). The CMMI-SVC model contains practices that cover work management, process management, service establishment, service delivery and support, and supporting processes. As a CMMI-SVC appraised company ERP is integrating best of breed service delivery processes and concepts into our service management programs.
An appraisal at maturity level 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standard processes, which is the basis for maturity level 3, is established and improved over time.
