ERP PROVIDES CHARITABLE CONTRIBUTIONS TO 4 NON – PROFIT ORGANIZATIONS

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE

January 26, 2018

Laurel, MD: ERP International started the year by providing philanthropic support to four organizations on a national and local level. ERP’s corporate office provided donations to the Fisher House Foundation, Children’s Hospital in San Antonio Foundation, ASPCA and American Heart Association. This year charities were selected by the participation of ERP’s employees. Each charity received a $5,000 donation, resulting in a $20,000 total donation by ERP to the communities in which its employees are involved.

“It is an honor to give back to the communities in which you live and work. Our corporate goal is to give more each year”, says Melvin Petty, ERP’s CEO and Managing Partner

Fisher House Foundation – The Fisher House Foundation provides military families free housing close to loved ones during hospitalization for illnesses, disease and injury. In addition, Fisher House Foundation operates the Hero Miles program, using donated frequent flyer miles to bring family members to the bedside of injured service members, and the Hotels for Heroes program, using donated hotel points to allow family members to stay at hotels near medical centers without charge.

Children’s Hospital in San Antonio Foundation – The Children’s Hospital of San Antonio Foundation was chartered in 1955 to carry out a vision: That every child in South Central Texas would receive the best available medical care, even if their parents could not pay. That noble calling remains the Foundation’s driving motivation.

ASPCA – The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals® (ASPCA®) was the first humane society to be established in North America and is, today, one of the largest in the world. The ASPCA organization was founded on the belief that animals are entitled to kind and respectful treatment at the hands of humans and must be protected under the law.

American Heart Association – The American Heart Association is the nation’s oldest and largest voluntary organization dedicated to fighting heart disease and stroke. Founded by six cardiologists in 1924, the organization now includes more than 22.5 million volunteers and supporters. They fund innovative research, fight for stronger public health policies, and provide critical tools and information to save and improve lives.
