Laurel, MD: Melvin Petty, ERP International’s CEO & Managing Partner, received the Outstanding Adoption Advocate award at Adoption Together’s Taste in Potomac event on October 21, 2017. As an active advocate for adoptions for over a decade, Melvin and ERP International have supported Adoptions Together by serving on their board and providing sponsorship for numerous events. Through his and many other volunteer’s advocacy, Adoptions Together helped 115 children find a permanent family in 2016.

About Taste in Potomac
Taste in Potomac is an event hosted by Adoptions Together that brings leaders in the community, advocates for children, and friends who care together. Guests enjoyed an evening of fabulous auctions and delicious food from Potomac area restaurants. Nearly 30 restaurants donated their fare for the enjoyment of our guests and to help Adoptions Together raise awareness and funding to find homes for children in foster care.

Adoption Together supports children and families formed through adoption, guardianship, foster care and kinship care in the DC, Maryland, and Virginia area. The nonprofit organization, established in 1990, has placed over 3,000 children in healthy family homes to help them grow and flourish.
