Laurel, MD – Laurel, MD – On April 28th, Barthold Delphin was recognized for his dedication to the Air Force Telehealth Mission. Mr. Delphin was honored during the retirement ceremony for Lt Col Antonio Eppolito, who retired from the AF after 28 years of dedicated service. Lt Col Eppolito recognized Rebecca Varian and Mr. Delphin for their 17 years of supporting the AF Telehealth Mission.
Over the course of time, the AF Telehealth mission has evolved from notional concepts to fully operational telehealth solutions enhancing the delivery of and access to healthcare, in a cost conscious, secure, and interoperable posture across various operating platforms. Mr. Delphin’s collaborative efforts include but are not limited to establishing telehealth workflows in the following specialty areas:
- Tele-Genetics
- Telemedical Nutrition Therapy
- Tele-Psychiatry/Behavioral health
- Tele-Transgender
- Telehealth in the Deployed Space
Additionally, Mr. Delphin participated, represented and collaborated with the AF Telehealth Chief as a telehealth subject matter expert (SME) as the Air Force Medical Readiness Activity (AFMRA) ultimately transitioned to full maturity at the Defense Health Agency.
