Laurel, MD: ERP today announced that it has been appraised at Maturity Level (ML) 3 of the CMMI Institute’s Capability Maturity Model Integration (CMMI®) Version 2.0 for Services. The appraisal was performed by The Process Company (TPC).
CMMI Services is an integrated set of best practices that improves an organization’s capability to efficiently and effectively deliver quality service offerings that meet customer needs.
An appraisal at ML 3 indicates the organization is performing at a “defined” level. At this level, processes are well characterized and understood, and are described in standards, procedures, tools, and methods. The organization’s set of standards processes, which is the basis for the ML 3, is established and improved over time. ERP was successful in being appraised under CMMI Version 2.0 which has a new appraisal process and criteria for success.
